BROKER DESCRIPTION

This is a fiberglass built custom sportfisherman that was constructed in Wilmington, North Carolina by Paul Wetsig.  The hull was reportedly designed by David Napier of Bertram Yachts fame and there are similarities to Bertram vessels.  Powered by 800hp CAT 3406E diesels.  Pipewelders full tuna tower with fiberglass hardtops.  Original owner boat.  Boat is in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and can be seen relatively easily.  Vessel is in need of some work and owner desires to negotiate to sell is in "as-is" condition.  Details are not documented and personal inspection is highly recommended for any perspective purchaser.

DETAILS

This is a custom built vessel with high gloss wood interior finish featuring a two stateroom & two head layout and a mid-level galley. There is extensive Teak cabinetry, finished bulkheads, and solid doors, plus granite soles in the galley and heads. The master stateroom is forward and has a centerline double berth and has a private head. The master head has a large shower stall with seat and two shower fixtures. The guest stateroom is just aft to the starboard side has a tapered queen berth. The guest head is between the two staterooms and it's doorway opens to the companionway. The guest head also has a large shower stall. There are overhead deck hatches in both heads and the master stateroom.

TROLLING FEVER features a large salon and a galley that is forward to the portside but open to the cabin. Her custom cabinetry and mill work is Teak with a high gloss finish. The mid-level galley is three steps up from the staterooms. The salon is one step up from the galley, ensuring the chief cook and bottle washer is included in all activities. Access to the cockpit is through a centerline hinged teak door with securing latch. Recessed pin spot lighting with dimmers offers the owner ability to adjust to suit the mood.

The Salon represents the ultimate in comfort and style including leather settees and attractive granite tabletops and a matched granite entrance landing. A large leather L-shaped sofa is to port. The salon centerpiece is a custom cocktail table of Granite and Teak with wine storage rack/storage beneath. There are teak storage lockers to starboard with an array of drawers and cabinets, and the stereo system is housed in a center door cabinet. Forward to starboard is a raised dinette with leather L-shape settee, granite tabletop and a tall cushioned designer bar chair. The dinette settee has a teak and holly raised footrest beneath it. The custom electric distribution panels are hidden in forward cabinets across from the galley. Extra large tackle drawers are part of the starboard cabinet. Windows are dark tinted and treated with sliding curtains. A teak safety railing is centerline above on the headliner. To the aft starboard corner of the salon is another smaller leather settee. The TV is mounted center above the dinette settee. The sole is carpeted in the salon area as are the staterooms, the companionway has a teak and holly wood sole.

The Master stateroom features a freeform, centerline queen berth with teak trimmed shelf storage to either side. Hanging and cabinet lockers are aft on the hull sides. The cabinets are teak with overheads in Ultrasuede, housing recessed lighting. There is drawer storage beneath the foot of the berth. The cabin has independent air conditioning and a Samsung flat panel TV/DVD combo. The bedspread and pillows have a classic Palm print. Both staterooms have a pair of MB Quartz speakers flush mounted and connected to salon stereo with individual volume knobs.

The private Master head compartment has a large separate shower stall with seat, partitioned with clear acrylic enclosure. Natural light & ventilation is through the Bomar overhead deck hatch above. The Microphor toilet is freshwater & electric flush. Countertops are Corian with white molded sink, above is a mirrored toiletries cabinet and a brushed nickel faucet fixture in the Corian backsplash.

The Guest stateroom is mid-ship to the starboard side it is compact although there is a double berth. There is a large hanging locker which is lined with cedar wood. There is also drawer storage. The cabin has a dedicated air handler.

The Guest/day head just aft on the starboard side has natural ventilation from the Bomar overhead deck hatch. The interior trim is teak and countertops are Corian. Both heads feature granite tile soles. Like the master there are brushed nickel fixtures & a Microphor head.

The teak cabinets have Corian countertops. A large square white porcelain sink is undermounted and features a brushed nickel wand faucet. The Kenyon four-burner electric cook-top is neatly mounted and there is a power exhaust vent inside the sliding cabinet door.

There is under-counter Sub-zero and Kitchen Aid stainless steel front refrigerator drawers adjoining. At the end of the counter in a cabinet with slide-in door is a Whirlpool Gold microwave/convection oven. The galley sole is granite tile. Beneath the steps from the stateroom up to the galley is a storage area which also contains A/C condensers, water system, and other ship systems.

The deck and house sides are cored fiberglass sandwich with a foam cored flybridge molding.

The extra large one piece 1/2-inch laminated glass deckhouse windows are frameless and offer strength and security with a practically panoramic view from within and privacy from those outside. There is a large non-skid cockpit deck and built-in custom cabinets on the house bulkhead. The bait prep/cockpit sink and tackle station is to port. A large/deep stainless steel lined freezer chest is to starboard with the cockpit controls in a small cabinet just above on the bulkhead. Live baitwell is towards inboard side of the starboard cockpit console and beneath the non-skid lid which serves as the landing pad to the aluminum flybridge ladder with teak step treads. Teak cover boards surround the cockpit with flush mounted rod holders and a dual purpose transom well. A large transom door and lift-up gate offers ease in landing trophy fish.

The hull is composite construction in vinylester throughout with solid laminate to chine, with a bolted and glassed hull/deck joint. Interior liner parts made of molded fiberglass add to the structure strength. Engine beds run the full length of the motors. Displacement is estimated to be approximately 45,000#. Fuel tanks are fiberglass. The bottom design is basically a deep-V with a wide chine aft and a small keel. Premium quality gelcoat was used.

Her unique styling incorporates a combination of the Carolina sheer line with the flair of Palm Beach fishing yachts. She is both attractive and a dry running yacht.

While originally finished to a high standard, TROLLING FEVER was built to fish.
