With numerous bunks and an open layout, this custom trawler is ideally set up as an inshore fishing or duck hunting mothership for the Gulf Coast and beyond. Heavy duty commercial grade construction makes this a rugged and bulletproof family yacht or a great opportunity to use for chartering. This custom trawler is easy to maintain and economical to run, and with her bow thruster, a dream to maneuver!
Lady Aline is a trawler but is a specific style and layout similar to a wooden Biloxi Lugger but without the headaches. She is comfortable and safe on long passages over open water such as trips to the Bahamas, but her roots are in the barrier islands of the Gulf Coast. The Chandeleur Islands are the most famous of these. This bird sanctuary has been in place long before humans, and it is teeming with redfish and trout. The nearby Biloxi Marsh is a fisherman and duck hunters paradise. These Biloxi Lugger style boats make excellent motherships for fishing skiffs that are carried on the roof or daisy chained in tow. This custom trawler's hull was built to commercial charter standards but has been a private boat her whole life. Her layout is perfect for large families, a group of friends, or a charter business. Lady Aline has made trips across the open Gulf to the Florida Keys and Bahamas. She is a seaworthy vessel that is given the utmost love, care and attention. Her paint shines, her engine and systems run perfectly, and she is a pleasure to look upon.
My specialty is Custom Trawlers, Biloxi Luggers, and Chandeleur Boats, and I can honestly say that this is the nicest, most well-built fiberglass example that has been for sale in a long time and at an amazing price. I have personally sold wood boats this style with leaky hulls and leaky Detroit diesels for a lot more money, so this boat is a steal at this price. If you are in the market for a Biloxi Lugger, Chandeleur style boat, duck camp, or a uniquely laid out custom trawler, I would be excited to show it to you!

Two forward staterooms each comfortably accommodate 4 guests for a total of 8 berths. The large salon midship is a galley up design, including extra seating area, dining table and lower helm station. Two more "day berths" are located in the aft salon.
Located aft is the ample cockpit that contains the head and shower facilities, for easy access and maintenance as well as a vent for the heat/AC system. Cockpit features a very large custom ice chest, abundant seating area, large propane grill and large propane double burner for boiling with fiberglass propane tanks. Located below the cockpit sole are two fish boxes, one live well with circulating pump and one sea water reservoir supplying raw water to the generator. The expansive transom drops down, serving as a loading deck and swim platform.
Top side forward, is another spacious entertainment area, with upper helm station, generous seating, dining table and a 360-degree view of the horizon that can be enclosed with a clear enclosure that is currently stored inside the cabin to keep it in top condition. Top side aft, is a davit crane for launching and retrieving two nice fiberglass skiffs.
Access to machinery spaces is through a smaller hatch in the cockpit or very large double opening hatches in the main salon.
