Entering the saloon you pass throughaDiamond SeaGlaze weather-tight door, this is a double door(note all exterior doors arethetop quality offering fromthis brand).The dinette is to starboard. The dinette is fitted with a high/low table that can be either a coffee table or opened up to provide dining for six. This table is fixed and can be rotated and adjusted horizontally for a better fit. Behind the setteeis a Samsung HDTV system on an electric lift with perfect viewing from the port side chairs or even the galley. To port are two household chairs with ottomans and an end table in-between. Countertops are granite. This is a spectacular living environment and with the fully covered back porch. Opening up the saloon doors creates a space that is simply unequal in yachts of her size.

The spacious galley on the Krogen 58' is more like a full size professional chef's kitchen. In addition to top-of-the-line appliances it offers excellent counter space and storage. There is a separate entrance from the starboard side deck through a Diamond SeaGlaze welded aluminum Dutch door making for effortless provisioning and ventilation. The galley is open to the saloon allowing for uninterupted conversation with the guests while preparing meals. Opposite the galley is the buffet with an ice maker below. The pantry is forwardof the buffet and there is additional storage in thesteps leading to the pilothouse.

Forward is the owners suite, with a Temperpedic Queen-sized berth that also liftswith hydraulic cylinder assists to access an enormous storage compartment. There are two large hanging lockers, a chest of drawers and large drawers at the end of the berth. All drawers are on stainless glide sliders.The owner's head and separate stall shower is to port with an aluminum and glass bi-fold door. Natural ventilation is unparalleled with hatches and opening ports. There are four large opening stainless steel ports in the stateroom and two more in the head with one being in the shower. There are two Lewmar Ocean Series overhead hatches over the berth to catch breezes while at anchor and creating a bright and airy feeling. The Lewmar hatches as well as all ports are fitted with screens. There is also a Furuno RD 33 multifunction display for anchor monitoring at night.

To port is a guest stateroom with upper and lower berths, and a bureau with additional storage at the aft end of the cabin. Forward is a hanging locker. The door hardware is all Mobela.Also all doors and lockers are fitted with O-ring gasket material (signature feature again) togreatly reduce noise transfer fromroom to room.Two large opening stainless steel ports provide natural light and ventilation. To starboard is the second guest stateroom fitted withqueen-sized berth. Beneath the berth is a section that provides an abundant storage area and is fitted with gas strutsfor easy handling. There is drawer storage and a hanging locker. All drawers are equipped with stainless sliders.This stateroom has a 23" Samsung LCD TV and HD DVD player. Two large opening stainless steel ports provide natural light and ventilation. The guest head and separate stall shower is located just forward of the starboard guest stateroom. The countertop is granite. Toilets are freshwater Dometic by Sealand, top quality and quiet flush. There is an extra large mirrored medicine cabinet. Also a large opening stainless steel porthole in the shower will provide natural light and ventilation. There is also a powered exhaust fan that vents outside the boat. Across from the guest head is the Asko full sized washer and dryer in its own locker with louvered doors.

The pilothouse is up five steps from the saloon and galley area. A Pompanette chrome and Ultraleather helm chair provides the captain with a comfortable seat to stand watch. The pilothouse settee and dinettecan be converted to a large double berth. Much consideration was given to thebridge layout fornavigational electronics,instrument panels and monitors. This is a very important area that is many times overlooked, but on lengthy passages becomes of tremendousvalue. In the Krogen 58, the pilothouse is very large and visibility is unparalleled in a comparably-sized yacht!

As you enter from the starboard side boarding door turning aft, you walk through a wing weather door and into the spacious and fully-covered "back porch", a signature feature of all Kadey-Krogen yachts. Being able to close the sea door, makes this a true extension of your saloon!The cockpit decking is teak and bonded rather then screwed down. A large Fridgibar marine deck freezer sits to the starboard side of the cockpit. There are two Glendinning Cablemaster 50 amp power inlets in the aft cabin bulkhead. A convenient hot & cold fresh water shower hose is enclosed in acompartment on the transom.Exiting through the transom boarding door takes you to the swim platform. There are two rod holders mounted on the vertical rails for fishing on your way to the islands. There is also a boarding ladder mounted under the large swim platform that can be deployed from the water. On thePortuguese bridgedeck, there is a control center on the starboard wing deck provided for ease of docking. Up forward of the Portuguese bridge, there areport and starboard seatswith storage beneath. The foredeck is completely uncluttered and a joy to work from. The stainless rails are tall and provide a very sensible and safe environment for offshore movement. The heart of the anchoring system is a Maxwell hydraulic horizontal windlass with a center capstan.This provides for full functional dual anchoring. There are electric inlets for when docked bow to as well as a fresh water anchor wash down. Heading around the port side of the Portuguese bridge leads youup to the boat deck and flybridge.Just to port of the steps leading up to the flybridge from the boat deck is agenerousstorage locker that spans the entire subfloor of the flybridge. The flybridge has an L-shaped dinette to port and to starboard there are two helm chairs. The flybridge is equipped with an arch that can be lowered to clear fixed bridges and makeIn Your Dreamscapable of doing the Great Loop. The boat deck is fitted with deck storagelockers. The 14' AB RIB is stowed athwart on the aft boat deck. There isan access gatetoprovideto convenient access to the RIB and Steelhead crane.

Below deck in the owners suite is the forward machinery locker and a collision bulkhead with watertight Freeman hatch leading forward into the bow thruster room. In the hallway between the guest staterooms is the access hatch to the midship machinery locker, providing access to the TRAC stabilizer actuators, fresh water tankand ships electrical systems. Access to the engine room is through a walk-in full stand up Diamond SeaGlaze weather-proof door.Aft in the engine room is yet another collision bulkhead and Diamond SeaGlaze weather-proof door leading into the lazarette.
