The 29Z is stronger and lighter than other boats built with conventional fiberglass construction. With of top speed of over 30 knots with the single Volvo Penta D4 260HP diesel engine and a cruise speed around 19 knots only burning 5.7 GPH, or you can speed up your cruise speed to 26 knots and only burn 8.5 GPH as she is the most economical boat in her class.
