“Festina Lente” is a 1995 Gozzard 36, 42’ LOA true bluewater cruising yacht. After completing a refit in 2018, the current owners have sailed her in Alaska, British Columbia, the west coast, and Mexico.

Inside, Gozzard is known for their furniture grade North American Cherry interior woodwork and teak and holly cabin sole. The Gozzard 36’s folding bulkheads transform the open day salon floor plan into private staterooms with comfortable queen size beds, cedar lined hanging lockers, drawers and plenty of storage. The size and unique design compare the Gozzard 36 to most manufacturers 42’ models, but with solid blue water construction, and no “Ikea-quality” finishes.

She is easily sailed in all weather conditions, whether in the bay, or on long ocean passages. The Gozzard pedigree is known for their robust build quality and seakeeping ability. She is easily single handled with all lines leading to the cockpit.

She has a very quiet running Westerbeke 36 4-cylinder diesel engine with upgraded Balmar high-capacity alternator. The new engine mounts and Auqdrive system make this boat virtually vibration free.
